The Public Affairs and Social Issues (PASI) committee is a forum for promoting awareness about critical social issues (especially those related to women and children) and advocating, sensitizing and educating the public about the same.
It promotes:
Dialogue with key stakeholders such as the youth, communities and organisations
Allows its participants the freedom to debate, discuss and express their views in a non-judgemental way on any relevant topic.
Activities & Some of the Initiatives of PASI include:
Educational seminars on issues such as cChild rights, violence against women, rights of the disabled, empowerment of women in India, public affairs such as road safety, traffic regulation, voters rights.
Public campaigns to mobilize support for the abolishment of violence in all forms.
Campaign to end Violence Against Women. A weeklong programme to create awareness on various forms of violence through seminars, webinars, talks, films, quiz, and panel discussions.
