Long Term Courses

I was brought up by an NGO and my life went in wrong direction. No one guided me for a good career or future. I got accommodation in Ashray Nivara Kendra. After six month I got admission for one year Bakery Course at YWCA and completed the course. Now secured a job at Courtyard Marriott Chennai

I am a resident at YWCA Lady Willingdon Hostel. It has been 3 years of my staying here as a resident and I have been welcomed once again into this fold by way of term extensions. During the lockdown, the men (cooks) have left no stone unturned to do their best with the limited resources that were at their disposal, all with a cheery spirit. Vidula Raj, Hostel Secretary is the lady of the Manor, our mentor to lend an ear to when we come distraught with the tribulations life may have flung at us, the reason my mother sleeps soundly at night knowing that I remain safe and secure under her guardian and YWCA of Bombay

I was homeless and wandering, wondering where to stay. Fortunately I got accommodation at Umeed Nivara Kendra. Ranjana encouraged me to continue with my education. I am very happy here as I got accommodation and will be able to stand on my own feet.

As I had fits issue and was hospitalized for 15 days most of the shelter homes refused to give accommodation but when Sneha Sadan Organisation approached Ranjana Madam from YWCA Umeed Nivara Kendra, she accepted me. I thank YWCA for providing shelter and pray to God that YWCA shall bring happiness in life of many more people.
