History & Legacy

A Courageous Investment in the Future

Completed in 1988 as a Hostel-cum-Community Centre, Anugraha was built to anticipate and serve the needs of a rapidly developing area.

Adapting to the City

Initially serving working women in the emerging business district, it seamlessly adapted to support young students as Navi Mumbai evolved into a major educational center.

A Decade of Grace

In 1997, marking ten years of dedicated service, the facility was named "Anugraha," meaning grace or blessing. It prepares to celebrate its Foundation Day in 2025 during the Bombay YWCA’s Centenary year.
